Jill is a lifelong sailor, having taken her first sail at the age of 2 on Barneget Bay in New Jersey.  She spent her formative years sailing every summer near Arcadia National Park in Maine as well as the waters around Annapolis on the Chesapeake.  She has sailed on the Narragansett and surrounding waters for the past 18 years and has been an American Sailing Association certified instructor for the past 12 years, most recently teaching with the Greenwich Bay sailing association as well as giving private instruction.  Jill and her husband Matt have owned several boats including a 30 foot Pearson, a Catalina 320, a Catalina 380 and Jill most recently sailed her new (to her) 2011 Catalina 309 up from Chesapeake City Maryland this past summer.  She will be re-launching the newly renamed Windsong in May along with a new Portland Pudgy dinghy - Little Ditty, that she just picked up yesterday.

When she’s not sailing, Jill is an IT Project leader at Aetna, part of CVS Health.
